According to the family album of Ila Jordan Kenady (1906-1994), this is a photo her grandmother, Ellie Cockrell Leftwich, taken in December 1923 after a stroke claimed the use of her arm. According to an article in the Ashland Progress, she died at her home in the Bethany community, Saturday, March the 22, 1924 and was buried at County Line church in Mellow Valley. At the time of her death she was about 52 years old.

John Mack moved to Texas and is buried in CrossPlanes, Tx. His family moved on to California.
John Mach was born on August 6th, 1881 and died on March 16th, 1926.
